Business Management Program is a four-semester higher education program that aims to train qualified intermediate staff, offering students job opportunities in the public sector, private sector, non-governmental organizations and / or entrepreneurship.  Currently, there are formal and secondary education. The language of education is Turkish. Students enrolled in the Business Management program must take all the courses in the curriculum in order to graduate from the program. Students are required to complete 30 working days of internship before graduation. The department gives utmost importance to the follow-up and sustainability of internships and 15 days after the student starts the internship, a follow-up letter is requested from the institution where the internship is done. Students submit their internship submission files following the next academic semester when course selections are made.

Purpose of the Program

The aim of the program is to train intermediate staff who will work in the efficient execution of the production and service activities of public and private sector enterprises and organizations, in accordance with the understanding of contemporary business management and operating with today's technology, with the characteristics of professional staff. In this direction, students are given theoretical information to increase their office knowledge for planning the working order that will enable them to make the best use of the money, manpower, knowledge and technology that the enterprises have, and students are prepared for business life with applied courses. In addition to general tasks such as planning, organizing, organizing, regulating and controlling in the institution where he works, a business manager takes into account jobs such as improving the product, increasing production and making plans for the sale of products, providing monetary resources to the institution and distributing the monetary possibilities of the institution in the most economical way, employing the manpower of the institution in the areas where they will be most productive and finding and hiring the most suitable employees. In this context, giving maximum importance to managerial and entrepreneurial efforts on business resources is also considered as the basic principle of business management.

Objectives of the Program

Business Management program aims to train students with the following qualifications:

Interested in other humanistic fields, especially sociology, psychology and economics, and technical fields such as mathematics and geometry;

A strong emphasis on human relations and communication;

Inclined to work in teams and projects

Have an entrepreneurial spirit;

Computer literate (at least Office program level)

Degree Awarded

Students who complete the program are entitled to receive an associate degree diploma and are also entitled to receive the title of "Business Management" professional staff. In order to graduate from this program, students; It is compulsory to have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 from all courses in the curriculum and to take 120 ECTS credits. In addition, they must complete their internships in the specified time and characteristics. GPA is calculated according to local credits.

Students who graduate from the Business Management program have the opportunity to work in all departments of public and private sector enterprises (production, management, public relations, corporate communication, human resources, accounting, marketing, financing, banking, insurance, representation, etc.).

Graduates of the program can work in public institutions, private businesses, non-governmental organizations or open their own businesses after meeting the legal requirements. Students who successfully complete our program can have job opportunities in different departments such as accounting, financing, production, marketing, sales, human resources and administrative affairs of companies operating in various sectors, as well as; they also have the skills to establish and manage their own businesses. Our students can also obtain various job opportunities in public institutions.
